From December 22 to 26, 2022, the „Winter’s Tale“ project will be performed in the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall in Hamburg (Germany).
The „Winter’s tale“ has become a popular tradition that has been established since the opening of the Elbphilharmonie.
This year, the Belgrade Chamber Orchestra has the honor of performing a various program and to perform side by side with one of the biggest names on the world music scene such as Fatma Said (soprano), Daniel Hope (violin), Lucienne Renaudin Vary (trumpet), all with the brilliant Katarina Thalbach who will wittily and critically evoke the Christmas
holiday with her unique recitation and eccentric style of acting.
With conductor Daniel Geiss, the Belgrade Chamber Orchestra will perform six concerts at the Elbphilharmonie on December 22, 25 and 26 starting at 4 and 8 p.m.

Under the direction of the music director of the Brixen Classics, Daniel Geiss, a wide variety of concert and chamber music programs will be developed and performed at breathtaking concert venues for two weeks.
Together with world-famous singers and the lecturers like Stanko Madic (Concertmaster BR), Arthur Hornig (solo cellist Deutsche Oper Berlin and solo cellist Bayreuther Festspiele), Julia Okruashvili (Cologne University of Music), Johannes Baumann (German Radio Philharmonic), Carla Rodrigues (San Francisco Opera), Viola Wilmsen (Solo Oboe DSO Berlin) and section leaders of the BelgradeChamberOrchestra, the project has an education approach that enables young musicians to learn from and with professionals.

The Belgrade Chamber Orchestra made its debut on Brixen festival (Italy, Tirol) in June of 2021. The orchestra is composed of accomplished musicians who have long been a part of Belgrade’s music scene, performing for various chamber ensembles along the way.
Under the creative guide of conductor and cellist Daniel Geiss, im the most alluring way, the Belgrade Chamber Orchestra will showcase Belgrade’s musical spirit — both on domestic and international scenes.
Not only when it comes to playing classical music, but also in regards to performing and studio recording of pop, rock, and movie music.
The greatest criterion we take into consideration while performing each of these genres is quality.
